The clock is difficult to program, I am an engineer with 5 years of college and find to be non-intuitive.7. Despite its cons it is one of the few dual units on the market and probably the best we have seen. I would like to be able to turn the beeping off8.
If you program it to make coffee it beeps twice to let you know it is on this job. Pros:1. We have owned Krups XP 2070 Dual Coffee Espresso Maker for about a year now. It makes fine expresso5. If you want a unit that beeps to let you know it is on or off this is for you.It beeps three times to let you know it is turning itself off after two hours.
The XP 2070 seemed to fit the bill. This unit beeps twice when you manually turn it on. Automatically turns itself off after two hours.6. We thought we wanted one unit that did both coffee and expresso, we wanted a programmable unit, we wanted a pump espresso maker.

Has a cup warmer on top that is supposed to workCons:1. It is a surprise the first time and may end up on your shoes. The espresso operation seems too difficult to operate. Make sure to empty it after every use. It seems a little pricy for the overall quality.
The display is gray LCD which is nice UNTIL you turn it on then it becomes blinding Blue. What is with the beeping appliances lately. 2. Has a decent pot warmer7.
This is my 3rd purchase of this product in 30 years and I highly recommend it.

I hope Krups never stops making this coffee maker. This is the second Krups duo coffee maker we have had, and it is the best coffee maker design we have ever used.
Coffee maker is easy to pour, no drips and easy to use and clean. It has stainless steel caraffs, which keeps coffee hot for hours. Overall we are very happy with our choice and Amazon was able locate me the best price on the internet. Excellent product. I was targeting the duel coffe pot with a non-glass caraff and found the Krupps.
